FLIGHT INFORMATION:

The airport of destination is Taipei International Airport (TPE). China Airlines (not to be confused with "Air China") and Eva Air are flying directly to Taiwan. Their websites are www.china-airlines.com and www.evaair.com. Some visitors are going to, or coming from Japan. China Airlines and Eva Air allow for free stop-overs in Taiwan when booking flights to Japan. E.g. The flight Amsterdam-Japan has a free stop-over opportunity in Taipei.

Furthermore KLM and North-West are having good connections. For visitors flying in via Hongkong we recommend Cathay Pacific. Almost the whole Dutch contingent booked their flights via Frankfurt (FRA) or Duesseldorf (DUS) with KLM or China Airlines, as the ticket prices seem to be cheaper in Germany. Ticket prices are about EURO 850,- but are rising fast as we are getting closer to December.

The airlines will also inform you for the necessity of visas. We can confirm that visitors from Germany, Japan, Holland, Belgium, the USA, Canada and the UK do not need a visa for Taiwan, as long as they have a valid return ticket with them.

DRY GOODS:

Taiwan is one of the most active dry goods inventors and manufacturers in Asia. Due to heavy competition with mainland China, product innovation is quick, productions are lean and scale-able based upon excellent transport infrastructure and logistics. Some of the companies manufacturing in Taiwan are Alita, Matala, Haifeng and many others.

Many of our customers are most interested to gain access direct access to dry-goods as resellers, distributors, wholesalers or participate in re-branding or OEM productions. Upon request we will forward updated price lists for air pumps, water pumps, koi food, plastics tanks, fish nets and other pond supplies. Thus our customers can diversify their sources for dry-goods and koi.
